Esme Sears

I first met Esme when she performed for me during a masterclass I was teaching on Sondheim at Associated Studios. I was pretty blown away by her to be honest, so when she approached me for representation a few months later I jumped at the chance.

Her light and energy is addictive and it has been a real joy to work with her for the last few years. Her range is extraordinary and I’ve seen her play an astonishing array of roles in a huge variety of styles and productions. She moves seamlessly through genres and mediums embracing every challenge.

Like most creatives Esme enjoys pushing beyond her boundaries and has recently turned her hand to directing, teaching and writing - always keeping me on my toes finding exciting opportunities for her. She is currently working on a stunning new piece of work that she has written and conceived and I am very excited to see where that takes her.

Esme recently made her Wigmore Hall concert debut as an emerging classical soprano in An Inconvenient Black History of British Musical Theatre.
