The Lion King

It genuinely feels like I’ve been waiting to announce this forever. The week that the pandemic closed the theatres in 2020 was the week that Phil Adèle was meant to begin rehearsal for The Lion King and the week that the cast announcement was due to be made.

Now, more than a year later, finally, I get to talk about how proud I am of Phil and how excited I am to see him on the Lyceum stage playing Ed in the 2021/22 company.

I was at the re-opening of the Lyceum Theatre in 1996 after the building had been dark for ten years and I was there for the first night of The Lion King in 1999. I cannot wait to now be there when this stunning theatre reopens in 2021 with this beloved production. It’s been worth the wait.

Phil has been with me throughout my own journey as an agent. During that time he’s grown to be a much loved friend and we’ve been there for each through a lot of life’s ups and downs. I believe it’s all up from here and I can’t wait to be part of the next stage of his journey.
