This is the first time I've ever represented both halves of a married couple. I've been working with the lovely Lewis Day for over a year now and during that time I've got to see him and his wife in a number of commercial self-tapes, so when Elysia applied to me it was a total no-brainer.
I love Elysia's attitude to her work. She's trained all over the world as a performer and that's given her the vagabond mindset that I find myself particularly drawn to. There's a deeply held, almost spiritual connection to the idea of artist as travelling player. In her life and in her work she exudes a sense of a wild and untamed life intent on sucking the marrow out of every experience. She's beautiful and funny and a joy to be around. She is a professional ballerina having trained with Akjun Ballet Theatre in NYC, highly skilled in jazz and contemporary and a superb soprano. I'm delighted to have her.
